The illustrations in this album are an interesting case. At one time they were easily found on the net. Some were used in Speculum pages and other erotic websites for illustrating stories. Little if any information exists about the supposedly German artist who created them. If you have any information about the artist or these images, please don't hesitate to write.

Watercolor erotica.
These strangely glamorous images are among an increasingly bizarre set I stumbled upon among a bunch of other nefarious stuff. I admire the artistry and the gentle perversity of it all.

I have finally discovered the artist is Julie Delcourt as suggested by the signed illustrations recently found. Please navigate to the Julie Delcourt page.

The story, or legend, the now legendary watercolors Gaggleman is this: in the mid-50s, a wealthy art dealer in New York commissioned a designer to Berlin a series of erotic works for personal use. The anonymous German artist, known under the pseudonym Gaggleman, produces more than 150 works in watercolor, almost all centered on the erotic enema in the family. The stretch graphic is nice and attractive, the colors are alive and yet refined, but to hit the most is the sophisticated, intelligent fantasy that freedom of the artist in each drawing, in fact transforming its squares into three small "stories" - never dull or repetitive - to read and interpret in the absence of written words. The delicate style, imbued with a candor not without malice, manages to forgive something not quite politically correct that shines through, here and there, in some drawings ...
At the death of the owner and the works change hands, no one knows how well end up a bit 'at a time all over the network. It is obviously not possible to post here all the watercolors of Gaggleman, but the ones I chose (almost at random, as they are all beautiful) can give an idea of aesthetic value - and erotic - of these little masterpieces of paper.
